Community Outreach and Engagement Coordinator
The Community Outreach and Engagement Coordinator connects Wakan Tipi Awanyankapi with the community by organizing and hosting outreach events, stewardship programs, leading site visits, and supporting relataed programs. Their work ensures that all engagement efforts are inclusive, culturally respectful, and centered on Native community involvement.

K-12 Curriculum Writer
Wakan Tipi Awanyankapi is seeking a qualified curriculum writer to develop curriculum and lessons plans for WTA’s K-12 field trips and Indigenous Youth Summer Program. This curriculum will focus on Dakota and Anishinaabe perspectives across multiple subject areas and will meet MDE’s Indigenous Education for All standards.
